What it the Position of Neutrality Interactive Step Experience?
The Interactive Step Experience is a curriculum based on teachings from the book Alcoholics Anonymous, taken from transcripts of Position of Neutrality. Position of Neutrality has been meeting in and around the Phoenix area for 16 years. Joe McDonald shares his experience, aligning his with that of the authors of Alcoholics Anonymous. Joe’s purpose is to teach people the manner of living described in the book written in 1939.
Chapter 5 of Alcoholics Anonymous begins with “Rarely have we seen a person fail who has thoroughly followed our path…” The efficacy in the early days of Alcoholics Anonymous is anecdotally reported to have been between 65 – 67% but has fallen to much lower numbers than that in the modern era. The purpose of this interactive step experience is to regain those numbers.
